ABOUT US

Diggant Surti studied Film Cinematography at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. He is currently freelancing as an independent filmmaker and cinematographer. He completed his graduation in Mass Media from Mithibai College Mumbai and later did One Year Diploma in Animation Filmmaking from MAAC. His FTII Diploma film 'Shadows of the Moonless Nights' was the only official entry from India in Cannes 2026 for the La Cinef section. His FTII Documentary film ' The Shape and The Sound' won an award for best Documentary in International Documentary Film Festival of Noida and it was officially selected for The Indian Film Festival, Stuttgart, Germany. Both the films are getting screened at Mumbai International Film Festival 2026.

 

 

Life is unexpected and it always gives you surprises. He used to play G.I.Joes and Hotwheels as a kid  while making stop motion videos with a chinese phone of his father, He never knew

it would turn into his passion and new paths will open up.

As an independent filmmaker and cinematographer, Diggant translates that foundational wonder into visual storytelling. This artistic drive led to the inception of DIGANTSTUDIOS, a homegrown production house designed to cater to both Indian and international audiences. At DigantStudios, we believe that films should be more than just entertainment; they should be experiences that inspire and fill people with genuine happiness.
